Membership provides many benefits, including the opportunities for education, leadership, professional discounts, recognition, research, career growth, and more.
The Connecticut ISSA Chapter, established in 1999, enjoys many members, from both the public and private sectors, who receive the benefit of learning and sharing knowledge about Information Systems Security.
Join us at an upcoming ISSA Meeting. You will have the opportunity to enjoy presentations on pertinent industry topics, connect with practicing professionals, learn about future chapter activities and earn CPE credits. You will also receive a complimentary copy of the ISSA Journal. If you would like to continue receiving all of the benefits of an ISSA membership, you may send in your payment (check/money order payable to ISSA) at that time or print out the membership application form and mail it to:
ISSA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, marital status, disability, religious or political affiliation, age or sexual orientation.
Membership in ISSA requires affiliation with an established chapter, if there is one within 50 miles of your home or place of employment. A special Member-At-Large membership category has been established without chapter dues for those members residing or employed outside a 50-mile radius of a chapter.
(See membership form for list of chapters, or visit the ISSA International web site).
Please pay both the ISSA and chapter dues with one payment. Fees are to be paid to the International Organization. Membership is based upon a 12-month cycle, and billing is done prior to the member's anniversary date.
Please visit the ISSA International website for information on dues.
Connecticut Chapter Dues: $20
Most of the CT-ISSA monthly events are free of charge to active ISSA members (any chapter). This is a benefit that we provide to the membership that is only achievable through the generosity of our sponsorships and in the Board's commitment and dedication to keeping your costs down.
Everyone is welcome to attend any of our events. For some events, we find it necessary to charge a small fee for non-members and people whose ISSA membership is disabled or inactivated for non-renewal. This charge helps the chapter to defray the cost of running these events ...parking, meals, facility, etc.
Charges for the event can be paid at the time of on-line registration using a credit card or PayPal account, or on the day of the event by check. The amount charged is posted on the Event registration page.
The event registration list will be verified against the CT ISSA membership list. If there is any doubt, bring your ISSA membership card with you to the event.
