Meet Our Board

Roman Simanovich, CISSP CEH

President

Founded Panther IT in 2004, an IT services and support company serving as the outsourced IT department for CT small businesses. Security threats are just as prevalent and detrimental to small business as they are to larger organizations. Recognizing the need to secure networks of all sizes has led to a focus on studying Information Security, and the application of learned skills to secure small to medium sized healthcare, financial, and professional services organizations throughout the state.

Carlos P. Branco, CISSP ISSAP

Vice President

As a seasoned IT Enterprise Architect, my background runs the gamut of IT leadership roles in which I've set policies and managed large teams, to more technical roles in which I've managed cybersecurity risk by deploying innovative technology solutions. My specialty is aligning business processes with best practices in technology, in such a way that provides meaningful business benefits. I recognize that at the end of the day, IT needs to enhance the users' experience, and not just replace their tools.

Bryan Chnowski, CISSP MSIS

Treasurer

With nearly ten years in Information Security and five years with the ISSA, I am proud to be a leader of this organization. The rich history of this chapter is unparalleled and the future is very bright. Come be a part of this community and share your experiences with the rest of us.

Thomas Guy Osa

Sponsorship Director

As an InfoSec practitioner with a focus on business technology optimization, I have 20 plus years consulting and advisory experience helping clients design and implement secure, reliable technology infrastructures and business operations. I appreciate and look forward to the opportunity to serve on our Board and to support our goals in 2014 to raise awareness of the security issues facing our business community. As the Sponsorship Director for the chapter, I work closely with our vendor sponsors to provide our membership with continuing education, special events, and great membership interaction here in Connecticut. Our sponsors help make this possible.
